Terms & Conditions – Skyline Locums

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the provision of temporary staffing services by Skyline Locums Ltd (“we,” “us,” “our”) to its clients (“you,” “your”) in the healthcare and social care sectors.

1. Definitions

• Temporary Worker: A person engaged by Skyline Locums to provide services to the Client on a temporary basis.
• Assignment: The period during which the Temporary Worker is supplied to render services.
• Client: The organization or individual receiving staffing services from Skyline Locums.

2. Service Provision

• We agree to supply Temporary Workers to you for roles you request.
• You are responsible for providing a safe working environment and ensuring compliance with health and safety laws.
• Temporary Workers remain under your direction and supervision during an Assignment.

3. Candidate Vetting

• All workers are vetted in accordance with applicable UK law, including DBS checks, right-to-work verification, qualifications, and references.

4. Fees and Invoicing

• Fees are agreed upon in advance of any Assignment.
• Invoices are issued weekly and are payable within 7 days of the invoice date.
• Late payments may incur interest and recovery costs in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

5. Cancellations

• Cancellations within 24 hours of a confirmed Assignment may be subject to a charge equivalent to 75% of the agreed daily rate.

6. Liability

• Skyline Locums is not liable for any loss, expense, or damage suffered by the Client arising from the acts or omissions of any Temporary Worker.
• We do not accept liability for any claim unless notified in writing within 7 days of the event giving rise to it.

7. Confidentiality

• Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of all information exchanged and not disclose such information to third parties without prior written consent.

8. Permanent Engagement

• If a Temporary Worker is engaged directly by the Client within 6 months of an Assignment ending, a permanent placement fee will apply unless otherwise agreed.

9. Governing Law

• These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
